At Baselworld 2019 TAG Heuer show presented two references in bronze: one with brown dial, brown bezel, brown calfskin strap (ref. WBE5191.FC8276) and the other with green dial, black bezel, khaki calfskin strap (ref. WBE5190.FC8268).
The price is Euro 3,900 / US$ 4,300.
Together with five new Autavia models in stainless steel, at Baselworld 2019 TAG Heuer also showcased two references in bronze: one with green dial, black bezel, khaki calfskin strap (ref. WBE5190.FC8268) and the other with
brown dial, brown bezel, brown calfskin strap (ref. WBE5191.FC8276).
The 42 mm cases of the new Autavia Bronze three-hand models are equipped with a bidirectional rotating bezel with a 60-minute scale in ceramic that offer excellent resistance to scratches and contribute to the striking look of the watches. They offer water resistance to 100 metres / 330 feet.
Protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, the smoked dial of the new Autavia Bronze offers excellent readability, even in poor light conditions, thanks to large hands and numerals that are treated with Super-LumiNova. The small aperture at 6 o’clock provides the useful date indication.
Inside we find the chronometer-certified 4 Hz (28,800 vph) Calibre 5 guaranteeing a minimum power reserve of 38 hours and featuring a highly innovative carbon-composite hairspring that TAG Heuer introduced earlier this year in the Carrera Heuer 02T Tourbillon Nanograph.
The combination of the calibre and the carbon-composite hairspring gives every model in this collection the "Isograph" distinction displayed on the dial, just below "Autavia". The trademarked name comes from the Greek word "iso", which means “equal” and refers to the stable and consistent movement of the component.
Designed and produced in TAG Heuer's in-house laboratory in La Chaux-de-Fonds, this carbon-composite hairspring delivers important benefits being completely antimagnetic and virtually unaffected by gravity and shocks.
The propeller and tyre that are etched into the stainless-steel caseback are a nod to the collection’s rich heritage.
The TAG Heuer Autavia Isograph Bronze is completed by a dark brown or khaki calfskin leather strap with a pin buckle in bronze. Straps are easily interchangeable using simple push buttons on the underside of the case – no tools are necessary. The price is Euro 3,900 / US$ 4,300. tagheuer.com
