Baselworld 2019: MeisterSinger is adding a new family of bronze models to its collection. With the Bronze Line, initially composed of three models, MeisterSinger underscores the instrumental character of its creations. Prices of the MeisterSinger No.03 Bronze, MeisterSinger Perigraph Bronze, MeisterSinger Metris Bronze.
After presenting a 100-piece limited edition in bronze of its Perigraph model last year, MeisterSinger is now adding a new family of bronze models to its collection.
With the Bronze Line, initially composed of three models, MeisterSinger underscores the instrumental character of its creations.
In fact, bronze is renowned for its robustness and weatherproofness. For a long time, it was the primary choice for casing scientific instruments and devices. Another distinctive feature is that, over time, bronze will develop a characteristic patina (depending on how the watch is worn by its owner), thus making each watch somehow unique.
To start its Bronze Line, MeisterSinger chose three of its most successful models and combined the bronze cases with deep blue sunburst-finished dials enhanced by contrasting numerals and hand in “Old Radium” as well as by vibrant touches of red.
The first model is the No.03, a MeisterSinger classic characterized by the absolute clarity of its dial. With its imposing 43 mm diameter, the No.03 offers a striking appearance, especially in this new bronze version. The sixfold screwed steel case back displays the Swiss automatic movement through the sapphire crystal exhibition window. It is waterproof up to 5 bar (50 metres / 165 feet). Retail price (including German VAT) is Euro 1,990.
The Perigraph follows the MeisterSinger principle of clear circular arrangement. The date is not displayed in a window, but on the open date disk at 12 o’clock, making the Perigraph particularly reminiscent of classical analog instruments. The movement is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. The 43 mm case is water resistant to 5 bar(50 metres / 165 feet). Retail price (including German VAT): Euro 2,090.
Finally, the third in the new family is the Metris. The smaller of the three new watches with its diameter of 38 mm, the Metris offers the best performance in terms of water resistance (up to 20 bar: 200 metres / 660 feet). Featuring a solid case back, the Metris in bronze has a price of Euro 1,990 (including German VAT).
The new MeisterSinger watches of the Bronze Line are powered by the Swiss-made automatic ETA 2824-2 (or Sellita SW200-1) with a 38-hour power reserve and are matched to hand-sewn calfskin straps in dark brown with bronze buckles. meistersinger.com
