The main novelty brought by Nomos Glashütte at Baselworld 2019 is represented by three new sport models in stainless steel featuring metal bracelets and a larger 42 mm diameter.
Powered by the in-house built DUW 6101 calibre with large date window at 3 o’clock and 42 hours of power reserve, the new watches are water resistant to 300 metres / 1000 feet thanks to reinforced cases and seals.
Very comfortable to wear, the accompanying bracelets are robust but still slender and very light although they are crafted from solid stainless steel (and not from folded metal plates).
The Tangente Sport is available in two versions, with a white silver-plated dial and in marine black.
The watch maintains the distinctive qualities of the Tangente, the bestseller of the brand, including the straightforward case and the clear typography.
Nonetheless, this Sport version has a larger diameter of 42 mm, more protection from shocks and resistance to water pressure, crown guards and an increased amount of Super-LumiNova to improve visibility of the hands and the hour markers even in the dark or underwater.
The Nomos Glashütte Tangente Sport has a price of Euro 3,980 / US$ 4,980.
The third model is the Club Sport which comes in a 42 mm round case that frames a deep black dial with date aperture at 3 o'clock and blue Super-LumiNova for hands and hour markers.
The Club Sport ensures security with every detail: if the crown is not completely screwed in by the wearer, a red section of tube serves as a reminder.
The Nomos Glashütte Club Sport has a price of Euro 3,220 / US$ 4,060.
The new Nomos bracelet, consisting of 145 individual parts screwed together by hand, comes with the specially developed deployant clasp and features a quick change system. Thanks to the quick release system, it takes just few seconds to alternate the bracelet with a wide range of straps without needing any tool.
The Tangente Sport and Club Sport models will be available in selected retailers from May 2019. nomos-glashuette.com
