In consideration of the industrial inspiration, Laurent Ferrier decided to use stainless steel for the 22.20 mm x 30 mm case of this model, whose non-straight lugs offer a comfortable fit on the wrist.
The ball-shaped winding-crown is a traditional element of Laurent Ferrier timepieces and facilitates handling. Its water resistance is guaranteed to a depth of 30 metres / 100 feet. The spherical sapphire protecting the dial is cut as if it was extracted from a crystal ball.
On occasion of SIHH 2019, two variations were presented: an enamel Grand Feu white dial with black enamelled Roman numerals and a grained slate grey dial with a raised XII marker at 12 o’clock and a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock. Both versions are characterized by “assegai-shaped” hour and minute hands.
The hand-wound calibre LF107.01 beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour offering an autonomy of 80 hours. The level of finishing is consistent with all the other calibres of Laurent Ferrier’s collection. In addition to the Côtes de Genève motif with a ruthenium treatment adorning the bridges and the circular-graining of the main-plate, the sides and interior angles are manually chamfered and the screw heads are polished.
