The new model differs from all previous Freak timepieces for two main characteristics: it is smaller - the diameter is 43 mm instead of 45 mm - and it features a traditional crown for time correction, so breaking one of the distinctive feature of the crown-less Freak Vision or Freak Out models, which correct time by the bezel.
The “baguette” movement is not changing, though. It is still a carousel, turning on itself once every hour to indicate the time.
With no actual dial and hands, the central bridge acts as a minute hand and one of the wheels indicates the hours. Both are treated with Super-LumiNova, just like the indices, for optimal visibility even in with poor light. With its nickel flyweights and stabilizing micro-blades, the real eye-catcher of the ensemble is the super-light and extra-wide balance wheel in silicium.
The new UN-230 movement is a fusion of the manufacture calibers UN-118 and Freak Vision UN-250. Beating at a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 vph), it guarantees 72 hours of power reserve.

Interesting interpretation of the Freak but it loses some magic compared to the originals.
