In pictures: Breguet La Marine Collection. Lifestyle pictures of the 5887 5547 5527 5517 models to better highlight their beauty.
After the 2017 presentation of the spectacular Marine Équation Marchante 5887, last March, on occasion of Baselworld 2018, Breguet expanded the Marine collection with three new models: a three hand model, a chronograph and an alarm watch with second time zone function.
Breguet revamped the aesthetic style of the Marine line combining modernity and dynamism with central lugs alternating polished and satin-brushed surfaces, more open fluting with visible flanks, as well as a crown surrounded by a wave decor and adorned with a wider B.
In our presentation articles. we mostly used studio pictures. Now, we are glad to share some lifestyle pictures of the models to better highlight their beauty.
The Marine Equation Marchante 5887 comes in a 43.9 mm-diameter case in rose gold or platinum. The rose gold version frames a silvered dial and an anthracite movement, while the platinum interpretation has a blue dial and a rhodium-plated movement. This precious timepiece features a running equation of time, a perpetual calendar and a tourbillon together with a power reserve indicator. Full presentation article here.
The Marine Alarme Musicale 5547 houses no less than three horological complications. In addition to an alarm, that can be used for wake-up calls or to remind appointments or events, it displays a second time zone as well as the date, at 6 o’clock. It is presented in three main versions: white gold case with blue dial, rose gold case with silvered dial, and titanium with slate grey dial. Full presentation article here.
The sportier model is the Marine Chronographe 5527, whose 42.3 mm case ensures water resistance to 100 metres / 330 feet. The central chronograph hand, enriched by a “B” in a reinterpreted version of the corresponding maritime signal flag, is complemented by two registers, at 3 o’clock for the minutes and at 6 o’clock for the hours. And, finally, we have the Marine 5517, a three-hand model coming in a 40 mm case, an ideal size for a watch with a dynamic yet elegant character.
