Baume et Mercier Clifton Small Complications/ Complete Calendar M0A10450. Power Reserve, Retrograde Day, Date M0A10449. Open Balance Wheel, Power Reserve M0A10448
Baume et Mercier unveiled three new watches in the Clifton collection with various small complications integrated on matte white dials: the Complete Calendar, the Retrograde Date and the Power Reserve.
Each of the three Clifton Small Complication models is powered by a self-winding movement (base Soprod 9040) beating at a frequency of 4Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) with a power reserve of 42 hours and featuring an oscillating weight personalized with snailed decor.
All models come in 43 mm polished and satin-finished steel cases with streamlined horns for an optimal comfort on the wrist. Both sides are protected by sapphire crystals.
The first model (ref. 10450) features a Complete Calendar, characterized by a classic and easy-to-read layout with two apertures for the day and month and a central blued hand to indicate the date. The elegant moon phase display at 6 o’clock completes the white dial.
The second model (ref. 10449) displays Power Reserve, Retrograde Day and Date. Its dial features three additional blued hands that indicate the day within a display aperture, the retrograde date along a wide arc, and the power reserve at 6 o’clock.
The third Small Complication model (ref. 10448) features a Power Reserve indicator at 6 o’clock as well as a small aperture at 12 o’clock revealing part of the movement and offering the possibility to observe the oscillations of the balance wheel and the beat of the escapement anchor.
Prices:
Clifton Complete Calendar (ref. M0A10450): Euro 3,550

These watches should be 40mm. Better look on the wrist and the back side would also benefit of more visual balance.
