The Bulgari Bulgari watch (or maybe we should write Bvlgari Bvlgari) was created in 1975 as a special gift for Bulgari’s 100 best clients. Adorned with the Bvlgari logo engraved on its bezel inspired by the coins struck by the Roman emperors, this timepiece was soon in great demand.

In 2018, the brand presents three original versions of its classic 41 mm case: one in bronze, the other two-tone with a black DLC-coated stainless steel case topped by a bronze bezel; and finally, a total-black DLC-coated stainless steel version.

The grained and black-lacquered dials features bronze hands and hour-markers. In a nod to the original, there is no brand logo on the dial.

All models are water resistant to 50 metres / 165 feet and are powered by the manufacture self-winding movement, Calibre BVL 191, offering indications of the hours, minutes and seconds as well as date window at 3 o’clock. The power reserve is 42 hours.

Alongside the choice of bronze, each of the three new models is equipped with a tool-free interchangeable strap system enabling smooth replacement between embossed rubber, alligator leather or leather options.
