Singer Reimagined Track 1 Hong Kong Edition. Singer Reimagined is unveiling a new, even sportier, Track1 version. Named the Hong Kong Edition, the timepiece will make its debut in June at The Lavish Attic, one of the city’s most exclusive retailer of fine timepieces. A limited edition of 50 watches, the Singer Reimagined Track1 Hong Kong edition has a price of Swiss Francs 44,500 without taxes and is available for pre-order beginning today with deliveries as of September 2018.
Born from the encounter between Rob Dickinson, the founder of Singer Vehicle Design, and Marco Borraccino, a renowned Italian watch designer based in Geneva, Singer Reimagined launched its first timepiece in 2017 with the Track 1, a model which created lot of buzz for its creative chronograph layout (we wrote about it here).
The brand is now unveiling a new, even sportier, Track1 version. Named the Hong Kong Edition, the timepiece will make its debut in June at The Lavish Attic, one of the city’s most exclusive retailer of fine timepieces.
Its 43 mm black case is crafted from ceramic-aluminum through a high-performance process which transforms the surface layer of a special, aerospace-specification aluminum alloy into ceramic. The result is a material offering exceptional scratch, wear and corrosion resistance with the lightness of its aluminum core and a smooth-to-the-touch surface offering pleasing tactile sensations. Located on either side of the case, the crown and pushers are made of black DLC-coated grade 5 titanium.
In this watch, the chronograph function takes centre-stage. In fact, the chronograph hours, minutes and seconds are coaxially mounted in the centre of the dial, allowing the elapsed time to be read easily and clearly with just a glance. The legibility of the dial, reminiscent of dashboard instruments, is further enhanced by instantaneous jumping hours and minutes. The orange tachymeter scale along the flange is perfectly in line with the motoring inspiration of the Track 1.
The time of day is displayed around the periphery of the dial. The hours and minutes are indicated at 6 o’clock by the small indicator set just above 2 rotating discs.
The contrasting baton-style hands are shaped to perfectly overlap once the chronograph is reset. In the centre, the brushed aluminium central cabochon is reminiscent of Porsche speedometers and it is one of the few elements directly inspired by the ‘911’.
It was the innovative architecture of the AgenGraphe movement that made it possible to bring all the chronograph functions in the centre of the watch and build the timekeeping functions into the periphery. Its unique 3x60 display (60 seconds, 60 minutes, 60 hours) is exclusive to Singer Reimagined.
Beating at 3 Hz (21,600 vph) with more than 60 hours of power reserve, this movement features the rotor on the dial side, leaving an unobstructed view of the architecture and the beautiful finish of 477 components.
Water-resistant to 100 metres / 330 feet, the Singer Reimagined Track1 Hong Kong edition is paired with a new sporty technical textile strap perforated with brushed grade 5 titanium screwdown rivets and orange stitches to match the orange accents on the dial.

Very intriguing watch. Very expensive for a chronograph in non-precious metal but I understand it's the price of exclusivity.
