Nomos Glashütte Ahoi neomatik siren white and Club neomatik siren white. For Summer 2018, Nomos Glashütte is adding two new models to its Aqua series: the Ahoi neomatik siren white and the Club neomatik siren white. The Nomos Glashütte Ahoi neomatik siren white and Club neomatik siren white will be available from July 2018 with prices of Euro 3,240 and Euro 2,500 respectively.
Introduced in July 2017, the Aqua series from German watchmaker Nomos Glashütte is based on two core models, Ahoi and Club, and includes several sizes and colours variations (you can read our presentation article here) designed for both men and women in mind.
For Summer 2018, Nomos Glashütte is now adding two new models to this series: the Ahoi neomatik siren white and the Club neomatik siren white.
Water-resistant to 200 meters / 660 feet for total reliability on both land and sea thanks to robust stainless steel cases, the new models are characterized by bright dials with tempered blue hands and red minute markers standing out on pure white.
Markers and hands are treated with glowing super-LumiNova for readability even in poor light conditions.
They are both powered by the neomatik calibre DUW 3001, an innovative in-house, self-winding movement equipped with the Nomos proprietary swing system which is particularly efficient, needing just a few motions of the arm for full winding.
With a thickness of just 3.2 mm, this 3Hz (21,600 vph) movement offers remarkable features including decentralised seconds, a stop-seconds mechanism, bidirectional winding motor and incabloc shock protection. The power reserve is approx 42 hours.
Finished in the typical Glashütte style (three-quarter plate, tempered blue screws, rhodium-plated surfaces with Glashütte ribbing and perlage), the DUW 3001 calibre is showcased through the sapphire crystal back cases of the new models.
The Ahoi neomatik siren white is available in a classic size of 36.3 mm, while the Club neomatik siren white is only a bit larger at 37 mm.
The two watches are matched to textile straps in light gray, designed by Nomos Glashütte and woven to the company’s exact specifications in France. While the surface of these straps is particularly robust, the inner side has a finer weave for improved comfort on the wrist.
