After the two RM 67-02 created for Wayde van Niekerk and Mutaz Essa Barshim and launched last year on occasion of the World Championships in Athletics in London, Richard Mille designed three new RM 67-02 models for three worldwide renowned ambassadors of the brand: Sébastien Ogier, five-time World Rally champion, Alexis Pinturault, French World Cup alpine ski racer and Olympic medalist, and Alexander Zverev, currently the world number three tennis player on the ATP rankings. Crafted in Carbon TPT and Quartz TPT (composite materials exclusive to Richard Mille and possessing exceptional shock resistance), the 38.70 mm x 47.52 mm cases of the new RM 67-02 models are characterized by four extensions which, in addition to being a hallmark of the brand’s sports watches, contribute to reinforcing the case structure. The total bezel/caseband/caseback assembly has a slimness of the 7.8 mm making the watch really comfortable on the wrist.
All of these models are powered by the CRMA7 calibre which combines the grade 5 titanium of the baseplate and bridges with the white gold and Carbon TPT of the variable-geometry rotor. Beating at a frequency of 28,800 vph, it offers approximately 50 hours of power reserve.
The complete case construction is water-resistant to 30 metres / 100 feet thanks to two Nitril O-rings, and is assembled with 12 spline screws in grade 5 titanium and 316L stainless steel washers.
For absolute comfort, Richard Mille equipped the new RM 67-02 with a highly elastic comfort strap.
