Designed with frequent travellers and pilots in mind, the new Bell & Ross BR V2-93 GMT 24H displays the time in three time zones offering excellent legibility and ease of use.
Its 41 mm round steel case with integrated protection for the screw-down crown and rounded lugs to better adapt to the wrist is a characteristic of Bell & Ross' Vintage series.
Thanks to the bi-directional 24-hour scale bezel, the BR V2-93 GMT 24H displays the time in three global time zones instead of two as usual. This is the first time that Bell & Ross uses a bi-colour bezel: in fact, the anodised aluminium disc separates night (black) from day (grey).
Protected by an ultra-curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, the black dial creates the ideal contrast with the large white numerals, a colour scheme that is directly inspired to on-board flight instruments.
The GMT hand stands out with its orange arrow while the Super-LumiNova coating used for indices and hands ensures optimal visibility even in poor light conditions.
The three white hands display hour, minutes and seconds in one time zone while the orange hand that rotates around the dial in 24 hours shows a second time zone. Finally, the bi-directional bezel enables reading of the second time zone or it can display a third time zone by rotating it clockwise to subtract hours or anti-clockwise to add hours.
The movement is the automatic Calibre BR-CAL.303 (base ETA 2893-2) which beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and guarantees 42 hours of autonomy. Water resistance: 100 metres / 330 feet.
