Bulagri Octo Finissimo in steel and rose gold. Bulgari Octo Finissimo Automatic Sandblasted, new 2018 models. The Octo Finissimo Automatic is one of the most interesting watches that we have seen in the last few years. Technically and aesthetically innovative, this model was first presented in a fascinating sand-blasted titanium. This year, on occasion of Baselworld 2018, the luxury brand added three new references to the family: ref. 103035 in stainless steel with strap, ref. 103011 in stainless steel with steel bracelet and ref. 102912 in rose gold with matching bracelet. The Bulgari Octo Finissimo Automatic in steel has a price of Euro 11,900 with strap or Euro 12,900 with bracelet while the rose gold model (ref. 102912) is much more expensive at Euro 44,900. Bvlgari
Launched by Bulgari in 2017 and received by the market with great enthusiasm, the Octo Finissimo Automatic is one of the most interesting watches that we have seen in the last few years. Technically and aesthetically innovative, this model was first presented in a fascinating sand-blasted titanium version.
This year, on occasion of Baselworld 2018, the luxury brand added three new references to the family: ref. 103035 in stainless steel with strap, ref. 103011 in stainless steel with steel bracelet and ref. 102912 in rose gold with matching bracelet.
As the Finissimo name suggests (the Italian word for “very thin”), these models have a total thickness of just 5.15 mm thanks to the extreme slimness of the self-winding movement (2.23 mm).
These two new interpretations maintain the key features of the titanium version including the 40 mm diameter of the case (water-resistant to 30 metres / 100 feet), the typical crown with ceramic insert and the original sandblasted treatment of the surfaces which makes them so elegant and homogeneous.
The dials are completed by PVD-treated black hands and an offset small seconds subdial positioned between 6 and 9 o’clock.
The in-house developed and manufactured self-winding Calibre BVL 138 beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and has a 60-hour power reserve. it is hand-decorated with Côtes de Genève and circular-grained finishing.
Both models are matched to bracelets composed of supple and articulated links for absolute comfort on the wrist. The steel version is also available with an alligator leather strap.
The Bulgari Octo Finissimo Automatic in steel has a price of Euro 11,900 with strap or Euro 12,900 with bracelet while the rose gold model (ref. 102912) is, of course, much more expensive at Euro 44,900. bulgari.com
