SIHH 2018: Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph, new 2018 models. Together with an accurate re-edition of the original Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph (we wrote about it here), at SIHH 2018 Audemars Piguet presented three new Offshore Chronograph models characterized by the use of ceramic components, all carefully hand-crafted. The model that is creating more buzz is the daring Camouflage model (ref. 26400SO.OO.A052CA.01). A new 42 model in stainless steel with a blued indigo dial (ref. 26470ST.OO.A030CA.01). Together with an accurate re-edition of the original Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph (we wrote about it here), at SIHH 2018 Audemars Piguet presented three new Offshore Chronograph models characterized by the use of ceramic components, all carefully hand-crafted.

The Offshore that is creating more buzz is the daring camouflage chronograph (ref. 26400SO.OO.A052CA.01), a new 44 mm stainless steel model with the first-time appearance of khaki ceramic bezel, pushpieces with stainless steel guards, and screw-locked crown as well as camouflage strap option.

Protected by a glareproofed sapphire crystal, the beige dial with “Grande Tapisserie” pattern has  brown counters, brown external zone, beige inner bezel and white gold applied hour-markers and Royal Oak hands.

This model comes with an additional khaki green rubber strap.


A new 42 model in stainless steel with a blued indigo dial (ref. 26470ST.OO.A030CA.01) marks the first commercial appearance for blue ceramic, used for the pushpieces and the screw-locked crown.

Decorated with the signature “Méga Tapisserie” pattern, the dial has blue counters, Arabic numerals with luminescent coating, blue inner bezel and white gold Royal Oak hands with luminescent coating.

Blue is also the rubber strap secured by a stainless steel pin buckle.


Audemars Piguet is also launching a monochromatic version (ref. 26470IO.OO.A006CA.01) in titanium enhanced by bezel, pushpieces and screw-locked crown crafted from an elegant grey ceramic.

The slate grey dial with “Méga Tapisserie” pattern has silver-toned counters, Arabic numerals with
luminescent coating, silver-toned inner bezel and white gold Royal Oak hands with luminescent coating.

The two-tone strap has light grey rubber on top and dark grey rubber on the sides and
underside with a titanium pin buckle.


All models are water resistant to 100 metres / 330 feet and powered by the manufacture Calibre 3126/3840, a selfwinding movement comprised of 365 parts which beats at a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour) with a power reserve of 50 hours. audemarspiguet.com
