Endowed with a polished and satin-finished steel case with rose PVD treatment, the new Multifort Datometer reveals — under a box sapphire crystal — a silvered and finely sandblasted dial, decorated with black transfers and recreating the 1939 design almost identically. Compared to the original, the case has been enlarged to achieve a diameter of 40 mm.
The characteristic feature of this model is the date, indicated by a 5N rose hand with a red varnished tip. The indexes and the faceted hour and minute hands are in rose PVD while the seconds hand features shiny black varnish. Several dots of black Super-LumiNova on the numerals and the hour and minute hands ensure perfect legibility at night.
Beneath its vintage look, the new Multifort Datometer houses an advanced automatic movement with exclusive date indicator based on its Calibre 80 (ETA C07.611 base), which offers up to 80 hours of power reserve.
Visible through the transparent case back, the movement beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour and features an oscillating weight adorned with Geneva stripes and the Mido logo.

Very nice! As many of my watch friends as well, I would prefer a steel watch! ;-)
