Richard Mille RM 030 Blue Ceramic EMEA Limited Edition. This high-performance model featuring the typical tonneau-shaped case is now available in a new blue and white version, the RM 030 Blue Ceramic EMEA Limited Edition where EMEA stands for Europe, Middle East and Africa, to remark the regions where this special edition will be on sale. Produced in just 100 pieces, the new Richard Mille RM 030 Blue Ceramic EMEA Limited Edition has a price of Euro 163,500.
The Richard Mille RM 030 is characterized by a sophisticated declutching rotor system, in some way a continuation of the torque sensor that the brand developed for its tourbillon watches.
This solution prevents overwinding thanks to the possibility to automatically disconnect from the rotor’s winding mechanism when the spring is fully wound. The torque sensor activates the winding function as soon as the tension in the mainspring no longer provides optimum torque.
This high-performance model featuring the typical tonneau-shaped case (50 mm x 42.70 mm x 13.95 mm) is now available in a new blue and white version, the RM 030 Blue Ceramic EMEA Limited Edition where EMEA stands for Europe, Middle East and Africa, to remark the regions where this special edition will be on sale.
The blue bezel, with a beautiful matte surface finish, is crafted from blue ceramic to offer extreme strength as well as high resistance to scratches and thermal shocks.
The white caseband is made in quartz TPT, a material composed of hundreds of layers of quartz filaments piled on top of each other.
Together with hours, minutes and seconds, indications include the date at 7 o’clock, the power reserve at 9 o’clock and, at 12 o’clock, an indicator to show when the winding function is active.
Baseplate and bridges are made of grade 5 titanium, wet-sandblasted and Titalyt-treated for greater rigidity and perfect flatness of surfaces, an essential requirement for precision components. Titalyt is an electro-plasma oxidation treatment which creates a crystalline oxide ceramic coating.
Polishing and anglage of the movement are made by hand. Beating at 4 Hz (28,800 vph), it guarantees 55 hours of power reserve.
