Tudor’s Heritage Black Bay collection expands with its first in-house chronograph with self-winding movement, column wheel and vertical clutch.
The new Heritage Black Bay Chrono remains faithful to the Black Bay aesthetic with the famous snowflake hands, a brand signature since 1969.
Its sub-counters are hollowed for optimum contrast against the matt black dial while a date aperture is positioned at 6 o’clock.
The recognisable characteristics of the Black Bay are preserved in a steel case with a 41-millimetre diameter, fitted with pushers inspired by the first generation of Tudor chronographs. A fixed bezel in circular satin-brushed steel with engraved tachymetric scale completes the face of this sporty new chronograph. The screw-down winding crown is engraved with the typical Tudor rose and lacquered in black. Waterproofness is 200 metres / 660 feet.
Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and boasting a 70-hour power reserve, the Calibre MT5813 features a silicon balance spring and is a Swiss Chronometer officially certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute). The MT5813 is manufactured by Breitling for Tudor and is based on Breitling’s flagship chronograph movement.
