The German watchmaker is now presenting the third model of its premium line, the Circularis Power Reserve.
While maintaining a single-hand to indicate the time, the new watch is easily recognisable for its semi-circular power reserve display window located at 9 o’clock which emphasises the great autonomy offered by the movement.
In order to implement the unusual design of the power reserve display, MeisterSinger watchmakers made extensive changes to the original award-winning MSH01 movement designed by Manfred Brassler, the founder of the brand.
The twin mainspring barrels provide a remarkable power reserve of 120 hours, or 5 days, when fully wound. The first main-spring barrel is being wound via its drum, the drum of the second barrel provides power to the movement. A differential determines and shows the difference in the rotations. The result is an indication that meets the aesthetic and functional standards one expects of a MeisterSinger.
The nicely finished movement - with circular polishing, mirror-polished bevels, blued screws and engravings in gold - is visible through the exhibition back, securely fastened with four screws.
The dial of the Circularis Power Reserve also includes a date indication and is presented in four variations:
- ivory with blued hand (ref. CCP303);
- opaline white with blued hand (ref. CCP301);
- black with white Super-LumiNova hand (ref. CCP302);
- sunburst steel-gray with white Super-LumiNova hand (ref. CCP317G).
The appliques of all four versions are designed with a glossy finish and stand out from the dial in contrasting white, gold, or blue.
Water resistant to 5 bars (50 metres / 165 feet), the Circularis Power Reserve comes in a 43 mm stainless steel case with a retail price of Euro 4,998. A bi-colour version in steel with a red gold bezel and a sunburst steel-gray dial is also available at the price of Euro 6,298 (ref. CCP317GLG).

Design, style and other things are good but the price ? It is too expensive.
