Novità Jaeger-LeCoultre 2017. Reverso Tribute, new models
In 2017, the Reverso Tribute collection expands with two new models: the Reverso Tribute Duo and the Reverso Tribute Moon.
Driven by the Duo concept, the elegant Reverso Tribute Duo offers two contrasting dials, each displaying a different time zone.
The 42.9 mm x 25.5 mm case - an ideal size for a pink gold model which needs to remain discreet - frames a silvered front dial characterised by a grained finish and hand-applied hour-markers with only the round curves of the small-seconds sub-dial to interrupt the geometrical linearity of the watch.
The reverse shows the local time displayed against an anthracite-grey dial decorated with a Clous de Paris guilloché around the perimeter and an opaline finish in the centre.
The day/night indicator underscores the rounded contours of the second face.
The 3 Hz (21,600 vph) Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 854A/2 with manual winding contains 160 parts and has a 42-hour power reserve.
The price of the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Duo in pink gold (ref. Q3902420) is Euro 20,300 (including sales tax) / US$ 19,100 (excluding sales tax).
The design of the Reverso Tribute Moon draws inspiration from the original Reverso watch.
Its silvered dial, in a grained finish that accords beautifully with the 49.4 mm x 29.9 mm stainless steel case, has blue-toned hour markers applied by hand. Their intense hue is echoed in the blued hands, as well as on the collection’s emblematic rail track minute circle that runs around the dial.
At six o'clock, a moon disc hammered into shape entirely by hand shows the current lunar phase. The date is indicated by a crescent moon set on the end of a delicate hand at its rim.
Like every watch in the Tribute collection, the reverse is endowed with a second time zone courtesy of the Duo concept. A trigger discreetly built into the top of the case allows the second time zone to be set, without compromising the aesthetics of the watch.
A Clous de Paris guilloché motif runs around the perimeter of this deep blue reverse dial, while baton hour-markers and Dauphine hands are set against the opaline finish of its centre. An eye-catching day/night indicator offers up the sun and the moon.
The 223-part hand-wound mechanical movement, Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 853A, beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of 42 hours.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Moon (ref. Q3958420) has a price of around Euro 13,500 (including sales tax) / US$ 12,700 (excluding sales tax). jaeger-lecoultre.com

The Tribute Moon seems too large to me. I much prefer the size of the Tribute Duo
