Stylish and versatile, the Drive de Cartier can easily match many outfit, from casual to black-tie.
The models launched in 2016 - the Drive de Cartier hours, minutes and seconds watch, the second time zone model and the flying tourbillon model (we wrote about them here) - have now been joined by two new models.
The first is the Drive de Cartier Extra-Flat, particularly comfortable on the wrist with its slender profile.
At less than 7 mm thick, it is 40% slimmer than the original model. Clean lines are enhanced by the sunray satin-finish dial, flat sapphire crystal, and finely crafted alligator-skin strap, which stylishly showcase the cushion-shaped case of the watch whose size is 38 mm x 39 mm.
The new timepiece is fitted with the Calibre 430 MC, a mechanical movement with manual winding beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour with a power reserve of 43 hours.

The dial of the new Drive de Cartier Moon Phases is characterised by a beautiful decoration which frames the moonphase complication displayed at 6 o’clock. Tracking the cycle of new moons, half-moons and full moons, this precise complication is known as “astronomic”, needing to be corrected by one day every 125 years.
For this model, Cartier developed the new automatic calibre 1904-LU MC, based on the 1904 MC used for the hours, minutes and seconds watch. Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, it offers a power reserve of 48 hours.
The 40 mm x 41 mm case of the Drive de Cartier Moon Phases, fitted with a convex curved glass case, is available in stainless steel (ref. WSNM0008) or in pink gold (ref. WGNM0008) with prices of Euro 7,500 / US$ 7,850 and Euro 20,200 / US$ 21,100 respectively. cartier.com
