This special gold alloy is created by the fusion of 24-carat gold and ceramic. The result is a super hard material (almost 1000 Vickers) which only diamond is capable of machining.
The 45 mm x 15.95 mm polished case features a bezel composed by a top in Magic Gold and a lower part in a black composite resin. The black-plated titanium H-shaped screws contribute to the technical look of the watch.
The open dial shows the movement’s bridges, gears, pinions and wheels of the HUB1201 skeleton movement, certainly a not conventional one with its architecture inspired to the Meccano mechanical construction system.
A crown gear with exposed teeth at 6 o’clock indicates the 10-day power-reserve status through a red frame on a scale from one to 10 days. A second indicator at 3 o’clock turns red when there is only two days left in the power reserve, reminding the owner to wind the watch.
Paired with small seconds, the regulating organ positioned at 7 o'clock beats at a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour).
Emphasizing the Meccano-inspired design, the caseback displays three bridges over the two parallel barrels and gear train.
The black rubber strap with structured lines is secured by a black-plated titanium and black ceramic deployant buckle clasp.
