The movement includes the newly patented "Freebeat" hairspring regulation system. This system guarantees more precision compared to conventional regulation systems where pins on both side of the hairspring are used to regulate how much it can wind and unwind hence regulating the speed of the balance wheel. Unfortunately, the collisions of the hairspring against these pins interfere with the overall precision of the movement. Differently, with the "Freebeat" system the length of the hairspring can be regulated with an adjustable crémaillère (straight bar with teeth on one edge, allowing it to be fixated at different length).
