Vacheron Constatin presented the Harmony collection in January 2015 on occasion of the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie.
After the limited series supporting the launch of the collection, Vacheron Constantin is now introducing new references for the standard collection. The new models will be distinguished from the collection launch limited editions by anthracite-coloured numerals (instead of the blue ones on the 260th anniversary edition), a mellow opaline silvered dial, a new more contemporary font for the counters, a reworked burgundy colour and a railway-track minute circle.
A remarkable Harmony Complete Calendar model is also joining the ranks of these precious mechanical timepieces, all certified by the prestigious Hallmark of Geneva.
The classic and elegant lines of the cushion-shaped rose gold case (40 x 49.3 mm, 11 mm thick) of the new model beautifully frames a mellow silvered opaline dial where the calendar indications are perfectly readable.
Around its rim, the date is indicated by a central hand which culminates in a burgundy crescent.
The day and month, in the same deep red, appear through apertures in the upper half of the dial, while the lower half is devoted to displays of the moon phases and the age of the moon, astronomical indications which require adjustment only once every 122 years.
The all-new self-winding movement, Calibre 2460 QC, is entirely developed and manufactured by Vacheron Constantin. Beating at a frequency of 4 Hz and offering a power reserve of approximately 40 hours, it is visible through the transparent sapphire crystal caseback.
