One of the highlight of the sale will be lot 145, a Panerai Radiomir PAM00021, one of the only 60 examples in platinum made in 1997 to commemorate the first Radiomir Panerai watch produced in 1937 for the Italian Navy. The watch is fitted with a period Rolex movement. In fact, when Vendome bought Panerai (the rights to the name), they also bought 60 vintage Rolex movements that were in storage at Panerai and decided to create the PAM00021 Limited Edition. It comes with a second platinum case back. Estimate: Euro 130,000 - 180,000.
Lot 163 is a Breguet Subscription Set (n° 8/300) produced in 1991 and inspired by the "montre de souscription" that Abraham-Louis Breguet started creating at the end of the 18th century. These watches were sold by subscription: a down payment of a quarter of the price on order and the balance on delivery. This set includes a perpetual pocket watch (a true replica of a famous model created by the great master watchmaker) and a perpetual wristwatch with minute repetition. Both pieces are crafted from 18k yellow gold with Breguet's typical fluted caseband, silver guilloché dials with blued steel hands and painted Roman numerals. With the original hazel wood casket, tools and papers, the lot has an estimate of Euro 200,000 - 300,000.
One of the several Rolex Daytona watches on sale, lot 151 is a reference 6265 dating back to 1973 with a beautiful and rare brown dial with cream counters. The 37 mm steel case with screwed crown and pushers houses the Calibre 727 hand-wound chronograph movement with column wheel. Estimate: Euro 90,000 - 110,000.
Also on sale as lot 119 a beautiful Patek Philippe Ref. 130, circa 1941. This 18K rose gold chronograph has a 33 mm round case and features a copper brushed pink dial with 2 counters (30 chronograph minutes at 3 o'clock and small seconds at 9 o'clock), applied Roman numerals and tachymeter scale. Accompanied by the original box and certificate of origin, this lot has an estimate of Euro 35,000 - 55,000.
