Armin Strom presented the Skeleton Pure Water in stainless steel and the Skeleton Pure Fire in rose gold. The new timepiece puts the beautiful Calibre ARM09-S at center stage highlighting the layered construction of the movement by colourizing the essential components. The Armin Strom Skeleton Pure Water and Skeleton Pure Fire are limited edition of 100 pieces each with retail prices of Euro 28,700 and Euro 40,200 respectively.
Armin Strom demonstrates once again the exceptional mastery of the manufacture in the art of skeletonisation with the new Skeleton Pure.
Presented in two versions, the Skeleton Pure Water in stainless steel and the Skeleton Pure Fire in rose gold, the new timepiece puts the beautiful Calibre ARM09-S at center stage highlighting the layered construction of the movement by colourizing the essential components. The result is a fresh and modern look.
The hand-wound movement - beating at 18,000 vibrations per hour - offers a remarkable power reserve of 8 days. With the two barrels completely visible, the winding operation becomes a pleasant moment. At 9 o 'clock we find the small seconds and the red-tipped power reserve indicator.
The skeletonised main plate is one of the key distinctive element of the Pure line with a blue PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) coating in the Pure Water and a dark brown PVD coating of the Pure Fire. The escape wheel and pallets are made of solid gold with hardened functional areas.
The case of the Pure, featuring the typical Armin Strom lip at 6 o'clock, has a diameter of 43.40 mm and alternates polished and satin-brushed finishes. Two sapphire crystals with anti-reflective treatment enables the owner to enjoy the beauty of the mechanism and the finishing quality.
The new watches are delivered with a dark blue, brown or black alligator horn-back strap as well as an additional rubber strap in the same colour.
The Armin Strom Skeleton Pure Water and Skeleton Pure Fire are limited edition of 100 pieces each with retail prices of Euro 28,700 and Euro 40,200 respectively.
Two more Skeleton Pure models - Air in titanium and Earth in black PVD-coated stainless steel - will be presented at the beginning of November during the upcoming Salon QP in London.
