Introducing the Nomos Glashütte Minimatik 39 date

Nomos Glashütte expands its collection with the Minimatik 39 Date, a hand-wound timepiece offered in three variations,  all characterised by a gold-framed date window.

Housed in a 39.5 mm x 7.5 mm bipartite stainless steel case with a polished finish, the watch is water-resistant up to 5 ATM (splash-proof).

The slim bezel maximises dial space, drawing attention to the elegantly framed date window at 3 o’clock, which sits at the outer edge of the dial for enhanced visibility. The date ring, surrounding the movement, is colour-matched to the dial for a seamless aesthetic.

A combination of minimalist dot indexes and Arabic numerals lends the Minimatik 39 Date a refined yet distinctive character, further enhanced by the signature small seconds subdial.

The Minimatik 39 Date (ref. 1250) and Minimatik 39 Date Gold (ref. 1251) share a silver-plated dial, with the former featuring rhodium-plated hands and the latter adorned with golden hands. The Minimatik 39 Date Blue (ref. 1252) presents a deep blue dial, complemented by rhodium-plated hands.

Like the front, the case back is fitted with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, offering a view of the beautiful details and finishes of the DUW 4601 calibre.

Characterised by the typical three-quarter plate architecture and operating at a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour), this hand-wound movement is decorated with sunbeam ribbing that extends to the date ring plate, along with perlage, tempered blue screws, and gold-plated engravings.

The skeletonized balance cock reveals the Nomos swing system, the brand's proprietary escapement, which ensures superior precision and reliability, as well as the blue balance spring.

The mainspring barrel provides a power reserve of 52 hours when fully wound.

The watch is paired with a smooth strap in Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan leather, secured by a polished steel pin buckle engraved with the Nomos logo. The lug width is 20 mm.
